Screen language, Sequencing and Visual Storytelling
Effective directing and shooting in documentary are learned skills and key elements for successful visual storytelling. Knowing the tools of screen grammar and sequencing help you to shoot with efficiency and deliver footage that makes sense in the editing room. In this workshop you will learn how to break down a situation into the right shots, delivering the needed material to make your editor happy, able to construct sequences that will lead you ultimately to strong visual storytelling.
