Script DC

Women in Film & Video DCScript DC

ScriptDC is the premier conference for filmmakers based in the Mid-Atlantic including writers, directors, producers, editors, and talent to connect with accomplished teachers, consultants, and industry leaders.

We are so eager to bring filmmaking resources to this community that we aren’t waiting for the return to “normal.” And really, how good was “normal” for you anyway? ScriptDC has always been about bringing information, resources, and connections that you can use to tell your stories.  October 20-22, 2023 we are offering five in-person master classes:

1) Directing Soup to Nuts with Joan Darling (Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday all day)

2) Documentary Directing and Producing with Nina Gilden Seavey (Saturday and Sunday all day)

3) Editing in DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro with Lily Klein, Grace Novak, and Sara Barger  (Saturday and Sunday all day)

4) Line Producing Narrative Films with Maureen Ryan (Saturday and Sunday all day)

5) Lighting and Camera Motion with Sheila Smith, Louise Hernon, Danielle Mileykovsky, Dave Aronson (Saturday all day)
