It’s about Derek Heard, a young black Georgian artist with autism who is making voting champions from young people who have felt left out of the process. In collaboration with the John Lewis High School in Springfield Virginia and disability advocates, they are developing a universal design voting education campaign for the 2026 midterm elections.
