Rangeley Wallace won the Grand Jury Prize for The Best Feature Screenplay at the Richmond International Film Festival (RIFF). The script, A DANGEROUS, GLAMOROUS JOB, is based on the true story of a group of WWII U.S. Army-Air Force flight nurses who crash-landed in Nazi-occupied Albania in the middle of winter. With the help of Albanian Partisans and the British SOE, they survived and escaped after nine brutal weeks of starvation, illness, blizzards, and Nazi attacks.
Rangeley’s script was edited by Mark Ricche and she believes that without his insight and suggested revisions, her script could not have succeeded at RIFF. Nice teamwork!
