Corporate Supporters
Businesses working in the media industry or in a supporting industry are encouraged to join at the corporate level. Corporate Supporters are recognized throughout the year in our e-newsletter, on the web site and at many of our 90+ events. With various levels of corporate support starting as low as $350 per year, there are several benefit options to choose from to maximize your involvement with WIFV. More information on the Premier, Sustaining and Basic Corporate Support Levels are here. Representatives of the Corporate Supporter receive appropriate member access and benefits.
Executive
Executive Member are individuals with at least 10 years experience working in the media industry. Executive Member benefits include: Full access to WIFV member services; Special Executive Series programs; Private Executive listserv; Virtual Executive Member Coffee held monthly; Complimentary admission to Wednesday Ones; $5 discount from member price on other WIFV professional development programs, including ScriptDC virtual events; Quarterly in-person Happy Hour or Executive Breakfast; Exclusive invitation to meet and greet WOV honorees (VIP Reception) with purchase of ticket. The membership fee is $220 per year.
General
General Members are individuals who are working in the screen-based media industry or who are interested in developing their screen-based media skills, and who are not eligible for membership as Student Members. They are subscribed to the Member-only listserv. General Members are entitled to vote. The membership fee is $135 per year.
Student
Student Members are individuals who are enrolled in a full or part-time basis at an accredited university, college, or professional or vocational training program, or high school, or who have graduated from such institution within the year prior to initiating or renewing membership with the Corporation. They are subscribed to the Member-only listserv. Student Members are not entitled to vote. A copy of student identification is required. The membership fee is $60 per year.
Dual
Dual Members are individuals who, at the time of initiating or renewing membership with the Corporation, are members of another Women In Film organization, as determined by the Executive Director. They are subscribed to the Member-only listserv. Dual Members are not entitled to vote. The membership fee is $75 per year.
