Passafiume on DMA Board

Andrea Passafiume has been named Board Vice Chair of the Disability Media Alliance (DMA), which was launched in July. The DMA is a global nonprofit dedicated to amplifying disabled voices and reshaping how the world engages with disabled creatives through authentic storytelling and representation. Passafiume currently leads the Programming for Gallaudet University’s Deaf Way Film Festival and the Seattle Deaf Film Festival. She is also a longtime programmer of documentary features for Tribeca and Sundance. Learn more about the Disability Media Alliance here.
